Commanding an imposing location above the old town of Chaves, the river, and surrounding hillside, the hotel is buffered from the noise and bustle of the city and yet is conveniently placed for sightseeing. While here you will want to visit the citadel, the old streets of the main town, the spa, and thermal waters, and there is a wonderful half-hour walk along the River Tamega and the Roman bridge.
