The hotel is very centrally located on George Square, adjacent to Queen Street main line station.

Rooms
During the complete refurbishment 30 rooms were lost to create larger rooms. The hotel now has 110 rooms. The rooms are of the highest quality and deluxe standard. All are brand new and in superb condition, as are the bathrooms. All are decorated in a modern style, but with some traditional touches.

Restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants. There is a formal restaurant and a more relaxed brasserie.

General
The hotel underwent a complete transformation that finished in June 2000. It is now an excellent upper four star deluxe hotel in the centre of the city.
