Location
The hotel is located on Sule Pagoda road (a Downtown landmark) in the heart of Yangon, very close to the Bogyoke (Scott's) Market and Chinatown, 30 minutes drive from Mingaladon Airport.

Rooms
Rooms are generous, proportioned. Rooms and bathrooms (31 square metres) are well appointed and sumptuously decorated. Though the standard rooms which do not enjoy the better city views (i.e. no Pagodas) have had some facilities taken away, they are still have the same size as the rooms with better views. Rooms come with voice-mail, satellite TV and in-house movies, IDD telephone, electronic safe, minibar, coffee or tea making facilities and executive writing desk.

Restaurant
Traders Cafe takes 152 pax for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner dishes are a mixture of Burmese, Indian and International dishes. Almost as many covers will fit into the Signature Japanese restaurant Tategoto. Cantonese and seafood are served in the plush Summer Palace, whilst the smaller Gallery bar serves cocktails and steaks.

Facilities: There are outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, baby sitting, fitness centre with jacuzzi, massage, sauna and steam room. Business centre and conference facilities including a ballroom, which can hold 900, seated pax. Shopping gallery including a clinic. The hotel is in an unbeatable location, high standard of comfort and part of the Shangri-La group.
