The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition with ensuite Bathrooms, satellite tv, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and welcome trays. The decor is very Victorian with patterned wallpaper and matching bedspreads and curtains.
Restaurant
The St George's restaurant is renowned for its excellent cuisine with traditional English fayre and yorkshire speciailites. The room is large and Spacious with long drapes on the windows.

The hotel also has an attractive bar and lounge and extensive conference facilities. This is an excellent hotel and is ideal for those visiting the Peak District and the Bronte country. The hotel is famous as the birthplace of Rugby League, the meeting that founded it was held here in 1895. M
