This hotel is situated just off Reykjavik's main shopping street Laugarvegur in a narrow side street. It is for the most part a peaceful location, but can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.

Rooms
The rooms vary in size, but all but a few are large. They are decorated simply with wood laminate floors, cream coloured walls and light wood furniture. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in very good condition as are the modern bathrooms, and almost all rooms also benefit from having modest cooking facilities.

Restaurant
The hotel has no restaurant, nor even a breakfast room so a boxed breakfast is served to the room at a time specified by the guest the night before.
